Job summary

Pressurejet Systems is seeking a Site Coordinator Civil for its Ahmedabad project site in Gujarat. The role involves day-to-day supervision of civil work, ensuring contractor compliance with drawings, quality standards and timelines, and regular reporting to the project office.

You will coordinate with contractors, vendors and site teams, manage manpower and materials, and maintain DPRs and progress records throughout the 1-year contract period.

Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E. Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in civil construction site supervision is essential.
• Industrial/building project exposure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
• Monitor whether contractors/agencies are executing work according to approved drawings, specifications and instructions.
• Check workmanship and quality of ongoing site activities.
• Monitor daily progress of civil work against the planned schedule.
• Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, vendors and other site agencies.
• Ensure the required manpower, material and resources are available for scheduled activities.
• Identify site-level problems, delays, quality issues and execution deviations.
• Immediately report critical issues to the office/project team.
• Maintain daily site progress records and photographs.
• Prepare and submit Daily Progress Reports (DPR) to the office.
• Report completed work, ongoing activities, pending activities and expected next-day activities.
• Follow up with contractors/agencies for timely completion of assigned work.
• Coordinate inspections and rectification of defective or incomplete work.
• Verify that work is being carried out safely and systematically at site.
• Coordinate with the office team for drawings, approvals, materials and other project requirements.

Candidate Profile

Candidate should have 2–3 years of hands-on experience in civil construction/site supervision, preferably in industrial buildings, factory construction, warehouse, commercial buildings or infrastructure projects.

The person should be disciplined, responsible and comfortable working independently at site. Strong follow-up, communication and reporting skills are essential.

Nature of Role

This is a 1-year project-based position. The Site Coordinator will primarily work at the project site and will act as the on-site coordination and reporting link between contractors/agencies and the office project team.
