APM Terminals is seeking a proactive Administrator Leader to manage end-to-end admin operations in a dynamic port environment. You will coordinate team workflows, oversee asset and infrastructure management, and drive data-driven improvements using Power BI and analytics tools.
Suitable candidates will have an MBA or similar postgraduate degree and hands-on experience with MS Office and ERP systems such as SAP/IFS. The role emphasizes compliance, vendor management, and cost-effective operations.
APM Terminals
Lead end-to-end admin operations, ensuring day-to-day management of admin activities, team workflow coordination, provider onboarding, documentation compliance, and smooth operational execution. Assist in planning new initiatives and programmes while managing admin operations in line with applicable codes of practice and Maersk ethos. Utilize operational metrics and data analysis to enhance team efficiency, improve SLA compliance, and support effective decision-making.
Admin Asset & Infrastructure Management: Organize the end-to-end admin asset lifecycle, including maintenance of admin assets and infrastructure, implementation of automated tracking systems, and reduction of Time-to-Repair/replacement.
Performance Optimization: Utilized data analytics to identify skill gaps, design targeted training programmes, increase manpower productivity, ensure optimal deployment, and enable cost-effective usage of materials, manpower and equipment. Drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) initiatives for admin assets: Usage optimization, cost benchmarking, AMC & contract rationalization. Identify and execute cost-saving projects (₹/move impact). Build MIS for: Maintenance cost trends and Cost per equipment.
Policy Implementation & Compliance: Standardized admin policy documentation and compliance procedures, maintained all required documents including logbooks, ensured adherence to SOPs, supported regulatory compliance, and implemented best practices across admin operations.
Reporting & Controls: Generated weekly metrics and statutory reports on admin operations, maintained systems for receipt and dispatch of goods, and ensured effective stock control of housekeeping, stationery, and other admin-related items procured for the site.
Vendor, Contract & SLA Management: Optimized vendor contract negotiations, ensured timely contract renewals for admin services, maintained contracts, documents, warranty certificates and claims, enabled timely vendor payments, and ensured cab service SLA compliance while maintaining high-quality operational support.
Housekeeping, Safety & Site Administration: Established and implemented effective housekeeping practices at site, ensured all admin-related activities were performed as per safety norms, and supported overall site administration through structured processes and continuous monitoring.
Education – Postgraduate, Preferred – MBA
Certification & Skills – Proficient in MS Office, Knowledge of SAP/IFS or similar ERP systems. Knowledge/ Hands on experience on Data Analysis, AI, Power BI, Autocad, MS Projects will be an advantage.
