Job summary

Lenskart is expanding its offline store footprint and seeks a Business Development professional to identify and secure prime commercial retail locations. You will manage property searches, coordinate with developers, landlords, and project consultants, and drive end-to-end negotiations to finalize locations for new stores.

The role requires evaluating location catchments, handling legal due diligence, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely store launches while building a robust

Qualifications

• 2-15 years experience in Business Development, property acquisition or property scouting in similar industry.
• Right Attitude, Good negotiation skills, Entrepreneurial thinking mindset: Self-motivated and self-directed with an ability to think innovatively.
• Passion for Results: High degree of commitment.
• Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
• High degree of personal integrity and strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced, flexible, team based environment.
• Need good knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Location & Catchment Analysis of new store locations and negotiate, acquire and finalize properties; negotiate rentals and landlord scope of works.
• Liaise on legal due diligence and paperwork involved in signing and acquiring.
• Coordinate with internal departments until store launch.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of growth opportunities, including organic growth and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for identifying suitable commercial retail properties for opening new Lenskart stores in their respective region.
• Retail property search management, coordinating with key partners like property developers, landlords, project consultants, property brokers.
• Location & Catchment Analysis of New Store Locations & Negotiating, acquiring and finalizing new properties. Negotiating final rentals, Landlord Scope of Works etc.
• Liaising legal due diligence and paperwork involved in signing & acquiring.
