Job summary

Tube Investments of India Limited (TII) is seeking a Shift Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations on the assigned shift in Madhya Pradesh. You will lead a warehouse team, ensure safe material movement, and coordinate across Dispatch, Planning, Production, Stores, and transporters to meet dispatch deadlines.

The role emphasizes 5S, accuracy in documentation, and continuous improvement of logistics efficiency. Night shifts and rotational hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations during the assigned shift.
• Lead and monitor the warehouse team to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient material movement.
• Ensure truck loading and unloading operations are completed safely, accurately, and within the planned turnaround time.
• Drive 5S, housekeeping, visual management, and workplace organization across the warehouse facility.
• Ensure 100% accuracy in dispatch documentation, invoicing, delivery challans, and shipment records.
• Coordinate with Dispatch, Planning, Production, Stores, Transporters, and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely dispatches.
• Monitor vehicle movement, loading schedules, and truck turnaround time to improve logistics efficiency.
• Verify material quantity, identification, packaging, and documentation before dispatch.
• Track shift-wise operational performance and prepare MIS and daily logistics reports.
• Identify and resolve operational issues related to dispatch, loading, manpower, documentation, and material movement.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, warehouse SOPs, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Monitor manpower utilization and allocate resources effectively based on shift requirements.
• Conduct regular inventory and dispatch accuracy checks and support corrective actions for discrepancies.
• Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners to ensure on-time vehicle placement and delivery.
• Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives in warehouse and logistics operations.
• Ensure proper shift handover and communication to maintain uninterrupted 24/7 operations.
• Be flexible to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays, as required.
