Job summary

Kriya Tech is seeking an experienced Production/Operations Manager in Tamil Nadu to lead associates and prevent bottlenecks in manufacturing lines. You will ensure SQCD targets, enforce safety, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with NPD, QA, and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage associates and staff to achieve Safety, Quality, Cost, Productivity, and Morale targets.
• Ensure smooth running and good health of the production processes, and upkeep of plant and equipment.
• Ensure product quality aligns with the company\'s quality systems, processes, and procedures.
• Monitor, measure, and report on production performance and issues.
• Plan, analyze, and resolve bottlenecks in production processes.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high motivation.
• Ensure health and safety rules are adhered to during the shift and related matters are handled per policy.
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Work with New Product Development, quality assurance, and maintenance to implement new product introductions and prevent problems with products and tooling/fixtures.
• Develop talent on the shop-floor and build core competencies

Job description

Manage associates and staff to achieve Safety, Quality, Cost,

Productivity, and Morale (SQCD) targets and goals

• Ensure smooth running and good health of the production

processes, and upkeep of plant and equipment

• Ensure that the quality of the product produced within the shift is

in line with the companys quality systems, processes, and

procedures

• Monitor, measure, and report on production related process

performance, general issues

• Plan, analyze, and resolve bottlenecks in the production

processes

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and maintain high

motivation levels in the workforce

• Ensure that health and safety rules and regulations are adhered to

during the shift and all related matters are dealt with using the

resources within the company in line with the company’s Health

and Safety policy

• Work closely with peers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth

operations

• Work closely with New Product Development, quality assurance,

and maintenance personnel to implement new product

introduction in lines and also prevent problems with products and

tooling/fixtures

• Develop talent on the shop-floor and hence core competencies
