Job summary

Artemyn in Odisha, India, is seeking a Plant Operations lead to oversee daily shift production, ensure quality, and train operators. You will manage schedules, attendance, and safety protocols while coordinating with maintenance to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Plant Operations: Manage daily shift production, start-up/shut-down activities, and ensure product outputs conform to specified quality standards.
• Team Leadership: Assign tasks to operators, manage shift schedules, handle attendance, and provide hands-on training to the workforce.
• Safety & Compliance: Execute, maintain, and supervise HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) rules, including executing Permit to Work (PTW) protocols.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Quickly respond to equipment failures or process upsets to minimize downtime, and coordinate with the maintenance team.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed shift logbooks, generate work orders, and prepare daily production MIS reports.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Experience: 2–5+ years of relevant experience in managing continuous manufacturing or similar industrial setups.
• Core Skills: Strong technical problem-solving, solid communication skills, production monitoring, and team management
