Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• Perform root cause analysis of repetitive breakdowns and implement permanent solutions.
• Review daily logbook and power consumption reports; initiate corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly power consumption reports and MIS.
• Monitor and manage spare parts inventory; issue materials in consultation with section in charge.

Shift In-charge _ Electrical Maintenance

Position Name

Purpose - Whydoes this role exist?

Developand monitor the delivery of preventative maintenance programs that align withasset management strategies. job involves innovation of new developments,modifications and amendments with a high focus on cost savings. Ensureprocedures enable optimal delivery.

Key ResultAreas (Key Performance Indicators)

PreventiveMaintenance

Responsible for looking after the shifts, electrical maintenance activities in order to optimize the breakdownsand increase the utilization of machineries.

Review of daily Logbook, Daily Powerconsumption report and initiation of appropriate corrective actionsaccordingly.

Preparation of Monthly Powerconsumption reports and monthly delay reports.

Planning & implementation ofpreventive maintenance activities as per schedule.

Review and verification of breakdownmaintenance, troubleshooting activities and action to minimize Breakdownsand improveefficiency.

Assist Respective Section Head toanalyze the repetitive failures and to take corrective action accordingly.

Analyze the fault and take correctiveaction. In case of major / critical/Emergency breakdown inform the respectiveS.H./HOD.

Assist respective Section head inspare planning and Inspection of MRNs.

Monitor Key Performance Indicatorsand ensure that targets of the section are achieved.

Ensure that Energy conservationefforts are implemented properly.

Review of daily power consumptionreport and Prepare monthly MIS.

Prepare Repetitive Failure Analysisreports and Generate Purchase Requests for Spare management.

Monitor Store Inventory and issuematerial in consultation with section in charge.

Monitor and Analyze the fault andtake corrective action. In case of major / critical/ Emergency breakdowninform the Respective Section in charge / S.H./ HOD.

BreakDown Maintenance

Perform the root cause analysis of repetitive breakdowns &find a permanent solution.

• Doingroot cause analysis to reduce routine problems or trivial break downcomplaints.
• Ensurecompletion of the appropriate documentation, as required time to time.
• Attendingto urgent matters as they arise depending on the priority analysis.

SparePart Management

• Responsible for maintaining theoptimum level of inventory of all the critical spare parts.
• Responsible for process enhancements/developmentjobs as per the plant requirements.
• Making Modifications/Amendments on thespare parts with a focus on cost saving.
• Ensurecarry out in-house low-cost automation projects to meet customerexpectation.

Compliances

To ensure compliance &Clearance from Government bodies to avoid any statutory violence.

Safety Perspective

Ensuring Overall departmental compliances related tosafety as per SOPs.

MIS Reports / Documentation

Responsiblefor providing Comparison sheets for Target Planned Vs Achieved / BreakdownOccurrence & Analysis / Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) taken tomanagement on daily / weekly / monthly basis etc.
