Job summary

Healthium Medtech Limited is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee electrical and mechanical maintenance of plant and process equipment at our Coimbatore site. You will lead a team, implement preventive maintenance, and manage budgets and spares procurement to maximize uptime.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong problem-solving, and a deep understanding ofInstallation and commissioning of equipment, with at least 5 years in related fields.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE with 5 years in maintenance.
• Experience in breakdown and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation of new machinery, plant and equipment with relevant parties.
• Lead the team to ensure machine availability and shift management.
• Reconditioning and retrofitting of obsolete systems and spares.
• Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and ensure full maintenance.
• Manage disposal of obsolete machinery and safe, lawful removal.
• Prepare annual maintenance budget and forecasts; procure critical spares and plant equipment.
• Perform root cause analysis and address problems; focus on air and water resources.
• Mentor and lead the department; apply best practices on machines.
• Adherence to daily and weekly machine maintenance charts.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Manage the process new machinery, plant and equipment installation in collaboration with all relevant parties

2. Manage the team to ensure Critical and Plant machine availability, reactively managing functional machinery with the Shift management

3. Reconditioning and Retrofitting of Obsolete System and Spares of Existing Machines

4. Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities,

5. Manage the process of disposal of obsolete machinery, plant and equipment to write off to physically removing it and its safe and lawful disposal

6. Prepare the annual Maintenance budget and forecasts and all Capital Expenditure proposals and responsible for Procurement of Critical Spares and Plant Equipments

7. Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems & Focus and Implement on Resource (Air &Water)

8. People management and managing the team on technical best practice, Mentoring and leading the department. Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems & Focus and Implement on Machines

9. Adherence to follow daily and weekly machine maintenance chart
