Sintex BAPL Limited in Gujarat seeks a Shift Engineer - Electrical to ensure reliable operation and maintenance of all electrical systems on the shift. You will plan daily, preventive, and breakdown maintenance, manage spares, and drive safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include supervising electrical technicians, troubleshooting faults in panels, drives, motors, and PLCs, and supporting continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and uptime in manufacturing operations.

Qualificações

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Experience in maintenance planning and electrical systems.
English and Hindi language proficiency.

Responsabilidades

Plan and execute daily, scheduled, and preventive electrical maintenance to ensure uptime.
Perform corrective maintenance for electrical panels, drives, motors, transformers, PLCs, and control systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production operations.
Develop and update preventive maintenance schedules for all electrical equipment.
Conduct root cause analysis of recurring electrical issues and implement corrective measures.
Spares and tools management to ensure availability of critical electrical spares.
Monitor quality and ensure safety standards in maintenance tasks.
Support plant projects including system upgrades and energy optimization.

The role is responsible for ensuring reliable operation, maintenance, and availability of all electrical systems and equipment within their shift. This role involves planning and executing preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance, ensuring safety and compliance, managing spares, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Description

Maintenance Planning & Execution - Plan and execute daily, scheduled, and preventive electrical maintenance activities to ensure 100% uptime of electrical systems.
Perform corrective maintenance for electrical panels, drives, motors, transformers, PLCs, and other control systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production operations.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance - Analyze equipment behavior, historical faults, and machine checklists to plan predictive maintenance.
Conduct root cause analysis of recurring electrical issues and implement corrective measures.
Develop and update preventive maintenance schedules for all electrical equipment.
Spares & Tools Management - Ensure availability of critical electrical spares and proper inventory management to minimize downtime.
Maintain organized and accessible storage of electrical tools, instruments, and spares.
Quality & Compliance - Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to SOPs, Work Instructions, and safety standards.
Monitor and maintain quality assurance of electrical maintenance tasks performed by associates.
Maintain accurate documentation and technical reports of maintenance activities.
Continuous Improvement & Projects - Suggest and implement electrical system modifications to improve efficiency, reliability, and safety.
Support plant projects, including system upgrades, energy optimization, and automation improvements.
Monitor key performance indicators (MTTR, MTBF. for electrical equipment and implement improvement measures.

Responsibility

Supervise and lead a team of electrical technicians to ensure efficient shift operations.
Monitor and maintain utilities and plant electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
Manage spares handling and maintain basic inventory control to prevent operational disruptions.
Provide technical support to production teams to enhance productivity and minimize downtime.
Execute preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity and reliability of equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults promptly to maintain continuous operations.
Ensure effective shift execution and maximize machine availability through strategic planning.
