Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre is seeking an experienced Hospital Engineering Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of critical hospital systems including HVAC, medical gas, electrical distribution, and water treatment. You will lead the shift team, coordinate with departments, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, rapid response to breakdowns, energy optimization, vendor coordination, and mentoring junior staff in safe work

Aufgaben

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of all hospital engineering systems, including HVAC, medical gas, electrical distribution, fire protection, plumbing and water treatment, and boilers/generators.
• Lead the shift team to ensure uninterrupted functioning of all critical hospital infrastructure and services.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, emergencies, and service requests.
• Coordinate with internal departments to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption to hospital services.
• Maintain documentation and logbooks related to daily operations, equipment maintenance, and incident reports.
• Ensure all engineering operations comply with safety protocols, NABH/JCI standards, and statutory regulations.
• Support energy-saving initiatives and monitor utility consumption to optimize efficiency.
• Assist in vendor coordination and supervision of AMC services and third-party contractors.
• Provide technical support during new equipment installation, commissioning, or facility upgrades.
• Train and mentor junior staff in safe work practices and standard operating procedures.
