Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Monitor hospital electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and utility systems.
• Inspect equipment and infrastructure for abnormalities or potential failures.
• Troubleshoot engineering and maintenance-related issues.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and operational emergencies.
• Coordinate with technicians and maintenance staff for repair activities.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when required.
• Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and service records.
• Monitor critical utility systems and ensure operational readiness.
• Support maintenance of generators, UPS, electrical systems, HVAC, pumps, and other facility equipment as applicable.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment.
• Monitor spare parts, tools, and maintenance consumables.
• Ensure compliance with electrical, fire, safety, and engineering requirements.
• Support statutory inspections and preventive safety checks.
• Investigate recurring breakdowns and recommend corrective measures.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative departments regarding maintenance requirements.
• Support energy and utility-efficiency initiatives.
• Participate in audits and quality-improvement activities.
• Follow hospital safety policies, SOPs, and applicable regulations.
