Job summary

Fortis in Ludhiana is seeking an experienced engineering leader to oversee hospital operations, including engineering, maintenance, waste management and CSSD services. You will drive reliability, energy conservation and cost optimization while guiding a multidisciplinary team.

• Ensure uninterrupted operation and maintenance of critical hospital engineering systems.
• Plan and monitor preventive maintenance, breakdown management and equipment performance.
• Prepare and control annual/monthly budgets with focus on cost optimization and energy conservation.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

• Manage engineering projects, AMC vendors, contractors and service partners.
• Drive operational efficiency, equipment uptime, safety, quality and compliance standards.
• Develop contingency plans and implement corrective actions for operational challenges.
• Lead and develop engineering teams; identify training needs and improve staff performance.
• Coordinate effectively with internal departments, external agencies and stakeholders.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by HOD/Management.
