The role requires hands‑on expertise with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs and a strong track record in maintenance optimization. Rotational shifts and a safety‑minded approach are essential for success.

Formación

• Experience in breakdown, preventive and predictive maintenance in a high-volume automotive setting.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical and automation systems including PLCs and drives.
• Ability to work with conveyors, hydraulic systems, robotics, and industrial machinery.

Responsabilidades

• Perform breakdown maintenance to restore equipment and minimize downtime.
• Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery and utilities.
• Troubleshoot Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC systems and related components.
• Diagnose faults in VFDs, motors, control panels, sensors, and automation systems.
• Maintain conveyors, EMS systems, hydraulic presses, robots, and electro-pneumatic equipment.
• Conduct regular machine inspections and support shift handovers with clear records.
• Ensure safety standards and maintenance procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize interruptions and drive continuous improvement.

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Shift Engineers – Machine Maintenance to support production operations in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and automation systems and hands‑on experience with PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, hydraulic systems, robotic equipment, and industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform breakdown maintenance activities and restore equipment with minimum production downtime.
• Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance of production machinery and utility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC systems.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in VFDs, motors, control panels, sensors, relays, and automation systems.
• Maintain conveyors, EMS conveyors, Motrain systems, hydraulic presses, electric hoists, robotic systems, and electro-pneumatic equipment.
• Conduct regular machine inspections to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with production teams during maintenance activities and machine stoppages.
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and shift handover reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce breakdowns and improve machine performance.
