Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in India is seeking an experienced Salesforce Functional Consultant to lead end-to-end engagements, gather requirements, and design scalable Salesforce solutions.

You will mentor offshore and onshore teams, align with business objectives, and ensure best practices, governance, and successful adoption across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Salesforce functional consultant.
• Proficient in gathering requirements and mapping business processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication.
• Experience with Salesforce security and sharing model, governance and best practices.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Salesforce functional consulting engagements.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Conduct workshops, requirement discovery sessions, and solution discussions.
• Design scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, admins, and project managers.
• Prepare functional specs, user stories, process flows, and gap analyses.
• Drive configuration activities: Objects, Validation Rules, Flows, Approvals, Reports/Dashboards, Security.
• Support Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and related products.
• Lead UAT planning and defect management; obtain business sign-off.
• Provide functional leadership to offshore/onshore teams.

• Conduct workshops, requirement discovery sessions, and solution discussions.
• Design scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with architects, developers, administrators, and project managers.
• Prepare functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and gap analysis documents.
• Drive configuration activities including:
  • Custom Objects
  • Validation Rules
  • Flows
  • Approval Processes
  • Reports & Dashboards
  • Security Model
• Support Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and related products.
• Lead UAT planning, execution, defect management, and business sign-off.
• Provide functional leadership to offshore/onshore teams.
• Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and governance standards.
• Support deployment, change management, user training, and adoption initiatives.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to CPQ, Marketing Cloud, FSC, or Field Service Lightning.
• Knowledge of integration concepts and APIs.
• Experience working with global clients and distributed teams.
• Domain experience in BFSI, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, or Telecom.
