Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Functional Consultant to bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution. In this role, you will lead discovery sessions, analyze complex business processes, and design scalable solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem. You will serve as the trusted advisor to our clients and the functional anchor for our internal technical teams, ensuring smooth implementation from project kickoff through to user adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Analysis & Discovery: Lead requirements gathering workshops with key stakeholders to understand core business processes, pain points, and strategic goals.
• Solution Design: Translate business requirements into comprehensive functional specifications, user stories, and system design documents.
• Platform Configuration: Perform advanced administrative and declarative configuration, including building custom objects, validation rules, screen flows, and approval processes.
• Team Collaboration: Partner closely with developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure the technical build aligns perfectly with the approved functional design.
• Project Delivery & UAT: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases, develop test scripts, and gather user feedback to ensure the solution meets acceptance criteria.
• Training & Change Management: Develop user manuals, conduct training sessions, and drive change management strategies to ensure high platform adoption.
• Client Management: Act as the primary functional point of contact, providing regular progress updates, managing scope creep, and setting realistic delivery expectations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 5 to 8 years of proven experience as a Functional Consultant, Business Analyst, or similar role focused on software implementation and consulting.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, including standard CRM capabilities, data models, and declarative automation.
• Certifications: Active certifications such as Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Service Cloud Consultant are highly preferred.
• Methodology: Strong experience working within Agile/Scrum project delivery frameworks.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to map complex, multi-departmental business processes into streamlined system workflows.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate highly technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
