Job summary

Aquatechnics Water Treatment Technologies in Kerala is seeking a skilled Plant Operator to operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment plants, including ETP, STP, WTP and RO systems. You will handle day-to-day operations, monitor performance and report issues to the service team.

You will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting, maintain operation logs, ensure safe chemical handling, and coordinate with supervisors to ensure smooth plant operation.

• Submit daily reports, attendance records and other required documents on time.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor water and wastewater treatment plants as per company procedures and client requirements.
• Monitor pumps, motors, blowers, valves, pipelines, electrical panels and other plant equipment.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor plant operating parameters and maintain daily operation logs and maintenance records.
• Check chemical dosing systems and ensure chemicals are handled and stored safely.
• Identify equipment faults, leaks, abnormal noise, vibration and other operational issues, and report them promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and housekeeping at the plant site.
• Coordinate with supervisors, service engineers and customer representatives to ensure smooth plant operation.
• Follow company safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
• Attend service calls and support maintenance activities as instructed by the company.
• Submit daily reports, attendance records and other required documents on time.
• Follow the duty schedule and travel to assigned customer sites when required.
