1. Position Purpose

The ServiceNow SPM / ITBM Architect will act as a strategic partner to PMO, Finance, IT Leadership, and Business stakeholders, driving a multi-year roadmap to automate and modernize portfolio governance, demand management, resource optimization, and embedding AI-driven capabilities across the ServiceNow platform.

2. Key Responsibilities

Platform Architecture and Design

• Lead ServiceNow SPM/ITBM architecture, solution design, and technical delivery.
• Design scalable solutions aligned with business and technology requirements.
• Define platform architecture, integrations, security, data models, and technical standards.
• Ensure alignment with ServiceNow platform best practices.

Portfolio and Strategic Planning

• Drive portfolio governance, strategic planning, demand management, and investment prioritization.
• Support capacity planning, resource allocation, utilization, and portfolio optimization.
• Enable financial planning, budget versus actuals tracking, cost management, and FinOps.
• Support OKRs, investment funding, and strategic alignment.
• Guide customers through initiatives that improve ROI visibility and portfolio decision quality.

Integration and Technical Delivery

• Lead integrations between ServiceNow SPM and enterprise applications and platforms.
• Design and oversee REST, SOAP, MID Server, and Integration Hub-based integrations.
• Support integrations with ERP, PPM, Agile, HRIS, and identity management platforms.
• Provide technical leadership throughout implementation and delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement and Leadership

• Act as a strategic technology partner for PMO, Finance, IT Leadership, and Business stakeholders.
• Lead technical discussions, solution workshops, and architecture reviews.
• Provide guidance on SPM transformation and platform modernization.
• Govern solution design and technical delivery across enterprise implementations.

Presales

• Support presales activities including:

3. Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field is required.
• Master's degree such as MBA or MSc is strongly preferred, especially for roles involving PMO transformation or IT Financial Management.

Experience

• 10–12 years of total professional experience in IT.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience.
• Minimum 3 years of dedicated SPM / ITBM implementation experience.
• 2–3 years in a Lead or Architect capacity with accountability for solution design and delivery governance.
• Demonstrated experience as a Lead or Architect on a minimum of 2 enterprise-scale SPM implementations.
• Prior experience in regulated industries is strongly preferred:
