Job summary

Tekskills Inc. is seeking a seasoned Software Asset Management professional to lead SAM initiatives for a ServiceNow–driven environment in Chennai, India.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years in SAM with deep licensing knowledge (Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, SaaS) and hands-on ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, normalization, and entitlement workflows. You will collaborate in a matrixed, vendor-supported delivery setting, drive data-driven remediation, and coordinate stakeholders to ensure accurate software

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in Software Asset Management, with at least 12 years working directly with ServiceNow SAM.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models (MS, Adobe, Oracle, SaaS subscriptions).
• Familiarity with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, normalization, reconciliation rules, and entitlement workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a matrixed, vendor-supported delivery environment.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder-coordination skills.

Preferred Skills Experience supporting SAM tool deployments or enhancements in an enterprise environment. Understanding of ITAM, HAM, and Procurement interdependencies. ServiceNow certifications (SAM, ITAM, or related modules) are advantageous..
