Job summary

Computacenter Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Functional Consultant/Business Analyst to join the Group Information Services team. You will work with business and technical teams to deliver enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements across multiple technologies in line with Computacenter standards.

Ideal candidates have 8–12 years in a similar role, 18+ months in ITSM, and hands-on ServiceNow administration.

Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years in a Functional Consultant/Business Analyst role
• 18+ months in IT Service Management
• Business analyst for an application development project in medium to large company
• Analysing and delivering enhancement requests to a core business system in a medium/large company
• Administration of a ServiceNow instance (CMS, workflows, UI actions, ACLs, dictionary, catalog items)
• Understanding ITIL processes: incident, problem, change, release, configuration
• Experience implementing systems using Agile/Scrum
• SDLC processes: requirements analysis and design
• Write high quality requirements documents, test plans, project plans, user guides, release notes
• Guide technical teams on functionality during development lifecycle
• Hands-on functional testing prior to user acceptance
• Design business processes, run requirements workshops
• Excellent communicator, able to drive and influence across the organisation
• Take ownership of technical and business issues

Job description

We are looking for a Functional Consultant/Business Analyst to join our Group Information Services team at Computacenter, this is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving team and make this role your own. You will be part of a team of business system analysts focused on implementing new functionality, application upgrades, standardisation, process improvements on differing technologies working with technical teams and business teams to successfully deliver changes in a dynamic environment in line with Computacenter standards and processes.

• 8 to 12 years working in similar Functional Consultant/ Business Analyst role and at least 18 months+ in IT Service Management
• Experience being the business analyst for an application development project, delivered to (or within) a medium to large size company.
• Experience of analysing and delivering enhancement requests to a core business system deployed in a medium to large size company.
• Administration experience of a ServiceNow instance including the delegation of groups, modification of CMS, workflows, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, dictionary, catalog items and updates of all other existing solutions requiring revisions
• An understanding of Incident management, problem management, change management, release management and configuration management as it relates to ITIL
• Experience implementing systems using Agile/Scrum methodology
• Experience in the Systems Development Life Cycle processing including requirements analysis and systems design.
• Be able to write high quality requirements documents, test plans, project plans, user guides, highlight reports and release notes.
• Be able to guide the technical teams, at a detailed level, on the functionality that needs to be developed and any changes / corrections that need to be made during the development lifecycle.
• Be able to carry out hands on application functionality testing, prior to handing over for user acceptance.
• Be able to design business processes, perform requirements analysis and run requirements workshops.
• Be an excellent communicator, able to drive and influence others across the internal organisation.
• Be able to take ownership of both technical and business issues.
