Job summary

Bounteous is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer with deep ITSM and HRSD expertise to lead client conversations and drive technical initiatives end-to-end. You will architect, develop, and deliver ServiceNow solutions across ITSM and HRSD, while mentoring junior developers and guiding platform governance.

In this senior role, you will own requirements workshops, demos, and go-live planning, and you will design HRSD processes, manage REST integrations, and contribute to a robust service portal.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Deep expertise in ITSM — Incident, Problem, Change, Request, SLAs, and CMDB.
• Strong proficiency in HRSD — Case Management, Employee Service Center, Lifecycle Events, and COE configuration.
• Demonstrated ability to lead client discussions, run workshops, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience driving technical initiatives — not just executing, but owning outcomes.
• Strong skills in REST integrations, Scoped Application development, and Service Portal.
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS‑ITSM, CIS‑HR) preferred.

Responsibilities

This is not just a development role — you will be a trusted advisor to clients and a go-to technical leader within the team.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of ServiceNow solutions across ITSM and HRSD modules, ensuring alignment with client goals and platform best practices
• Own and drive client‑fac­ing discussions — from requirement gathering and solution workshops to demos, sprint reviews, and go‑live planning
• Architect and implement complex ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, and CMDB
• Design and configure HRSD solutions covering Case & Knowledge Management, Employee Service Center, COE setups, and lifecycle events
• Build and manage REST integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems, with robust error handling and data validation
• Develop Scoped Applications, UI Scripts, Client Scripts, Business Rules, and Script Includes for complex business logic
• Create and enhance Service Portal experiences including custom widgets and portal configurations
• Contribute to and lead technical initiatives — identifying improvement opportunities, driving platform governance, and mentoring junior developers
• Leverage GenAI capabilities (Now Assist or similar) and Virtual Agent to enhance automation and self‑service
