Job summary

Datavail is seeking a Remote ServiceNow Administrator to design, implement, and maintain core ServiceNow capabilities, including CMDB, Discovery, AI Assist, Knowledge Management, and ITSM/ITOM, ensuring governance and data quality.

The role covers admin tasks, instance cloning, upgrades, security, MID Servers, and enterprise integrations, with collaboration across development teams to deliver reliable services.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience administering ServiceNow platform including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
• Experience enabling and supporting AI capabilities within ServiceNow, including AI Assist and Predictive Intelligence.
• Knowledge of license models, governance, and data quality practices; familiarity with data archiving and retention policies.

Responsibilities

• Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform administration and architecture across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, Change Management, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
• Enable and support AI capabilities within the ServiceNow platform, including AI Assist and Virtual Agent.
• Manage integrations, MID Servers, Discovery schedules, and platform health monitoring.
• Oversee platform security, roles, ACLs, and governance to ensure compliance and reliability.
• Drive platform standardization, governance, and best practices to improve data quality and operational efficiency.

Job Description

• Design, implement, and maintain core ServiceNow platform capabilities, including CMDB, Discovery, AI Assist, Knowledge Management, and other platform features.
• Administer and maintain the ServiceNow SaaS platform, including instance cloning, backup and recovery, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting performance degradation or service disruptions.
• Configure, support, and maintain MID Servers, Discovery, Service Mapping, and enterprise integrations.
• Collaborate with development teams and provide hands-on development support when required.
• Manage users, groups, roles, ACLs, and overall platform security and governance.
• Monitor platform performance, perform system health checks, and proactively identify opportunities for optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related incidents, service disruptions, and business process issues.
• Drive platform standardization, governance, and best practices to improve operational efficiency and data quality.

Responsibilities for SNOW Administrator

• Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform administration and architecture. Hands-on experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, Change Management, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
• Strong knowledge and experience enabling and supporting AI capabilities within the ServiceNow platform, including AI Assist, Predictive Intelligence, and Virtual Agent.
• Strong understanding of certificate management, knowledge management, and workflow automation processes that improve platform reliability, security, and data accuracy.
• Experience managing integrations, MID Servers, Discovery schedules, and platform health monitoring.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow licensing models, governance practices, invoice validation, compliance reviews, and true-up activities. Experience with platform housekeeping activities, including data archiving, retention policies, table maintenance, data cleanup, and performance optimization. Strong knowledge of instance cloning, backup and recovery procedures, upgrade planning, and platform lifecycle management.
