Job summary

Careernet is seeking an experienced ServiceNow specialist to join a Big Tech client in Chennai. You will administer and extend ServiceNow applications, implement change, incident, and problem management, and support catalog items and CMDB workflows.

The role requires hands-on expertise with REST/SOAP API integration, AngularJS portal configurations, Flow Designer, and agile practices to deliver robust IT service solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in ServiceNow administration and development
• Strong knowledge of Change, Incident and Problem Management
• Experience with CMDB, Service Catalogue, and Catalog items
• Proficiency in REST/SOAP API integration and AngularJS-based portals
• Experience with Flow Designer and Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodologies

Responsibilities

• Administer and customize ServiceNow applications

This is a permanent role with a Big Tech client of Careernet.

Required Experience: At least 6 years’ experience with:

• ServiceNow administration and development, including ServiceNow Admin/Implementation Specialist, Foundation, JavaScript, and HTML knowledge.
• Developing and maintaining Change, Incident, and Problem Management applications (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Workflows, Assignment Rules, SLAs, Views, Email Notifications, and Email Templates).
• Supporting the ServiceNow Service Catalogue and Requested Item–related artifacts, and implementing general settings for Incident, Problem, Change, and SLA.
• Service Catalogue configuration, including service requests for multiple stakeholders such as application teams, HR, and the Incident Management team.
• Creating and updating Order Guides, Catalogue Items, Record Producers, Requested Items, Tasks, Inbound Actions, Data Imports, and Transform Maps.
• ServiceNow Discovery and the CMDB (Configuration Management Database).
• REST/SOAP API integration.
• ServiceNow Portal configuration using AngularJS.
• Flow Designer for building catalogue workflows and integrations.
• Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodology.
