Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a technically skilled Service & Refurbishment Engineer to be based at our Haryana Warehouse (Tauru). The role will primarily be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair and refurbishment of returned, damaged and non-saleable inventory products.

This role requires strong hands-on troubleshooting and product repair capabilities across industrial, electrical, mechanical and related product categories.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect returned, damaged and non-saleable inventory products and conduct quality checks to assess their condition and repairability.
• Diagnose technical faults and carry out repair, servicing and refurbishment of products to restore them to a usable or saleable condition wherever possible.
• Identify products that cannot be repaired or refurbished and recommend appropriate action, including liquidation, disposal or other inventory disposition.
• Manage and maintain records of non-saleable inventory, repair status, refurbishment activities and product disposition.
• Handle warranty-related cases, including technical assessment, troubleshooting and coordination with relevant vendors, service centres or internal teams.
• Provide technical assistance and on-call support to customers for product-related queries, troubleshooting and basic issue resolution.
• Identify spare parts and consumables required for product repairs and coordinate with procurement, vendors and service partners for timely availability.
• Maintain repair logs, service reports, quality check records and other relevant technical documentation.
• Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, category and customer service teams to ensure timely resolution of product-related issues.
• Identify recurring product defects or quality concerns and provide feedback to relevant internal teams and vendors to support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Diploma/ITI/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or a relevant technical discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in product repair, servicing, maintenance or technical support.
• Experience in repairing industrial products, electrical equipment, power tools, machinery or MRO products will be preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand product specifications, technical manuals and repair procedures.
• Good communication skills with the ability to provide technical support and guidance to customers over calls.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and handling a diverse range of industrial and technical products.
