Job summary

Acesoft Labs in Bengaluru is hiring a ServiceNow ITSM Developer with 3-6 years of experience. The role focuses on developing and configuring ITSM workflows, UI policies, and integrations within an Agile framework.

You will collaborate on user stories, implement business rules and client scripts, and ensure robust integrations with external systems via REST and SOAP APIs. Immediate notice period preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM development and configuration.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical tasks in an Agile environment.
• Hands-on with integration using REST/SOAP APIs and data migrations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on user stories and define development tasks.
• Develop and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Script Includes.
• Create and integrate ServiceNow apps with third-party systems via REST/SOAP.
• Communicate requirements to customers in technical and business terms.
• Design testing strategies for development, QA and UAT environments.
• Participate in workshops with customers to confirm expectations.
• Monitor ITSM module performance and implement improvements.
• Document processes and maintain technical documentation.
• Work on continuous improvement by sharing knowledge with the team.
• Handle portal design, notifications, and 3rd-party integrations.
• Ensure data integrity in CMDB and data migration activities.

• Carry out agile sprint-defined development tasks to support release cycles ,
• Develop and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts,Script Includes, Widgets
• Integrate ServiceNow applications with third applications using REST/SOAP API s
• Communicate with the customer in technical/non-technical terms, understand their business requirements, and provide suitable solutions
• Work with stakeholders to design testing strategies for development, QA and UAT environments
• Work on continuous improvement by sharing experiences and knowledge with the team
• Monitor ServiceNow ITSM module for failures and performance problems .
• Create necessary documentation for the process and team.
• Run/ participate in workshops with the customer to meet the expectations and requirements.
