Job summary

JOB -xz Services seeks a Service Engineer to join our Service, Pumps team across India. You will resolve equipment-related issues for slurry pumps, valves, cyclones, and mechanical seals, delivering technical service, conducting trainings, and maintaining strong customer relationships with frequent travel to customer sites in Mumbai and Bengaluru.

The role supports mining, aggregates, recycling, and process industries, focusing on uptime, performance, and customer value.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in customer-facing service, maintenance, or technical support roles within mining, aggregates, recycling, or process industry environments.
• Knowledge of pumps, valves, cyclones, mechanical seals, or related process equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop practical solutions.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and communicate effectively with different stakeholders.
• Experience delivering technical presentations, training, or customer support activities.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and respond effectively to changing customer requirements.
• Strong reporting, documentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer complaints related to centrifugal industrial slurry pumps, valves, cyclones, and mechanical seals, ensuring timely issue resolution and root cause analysis.
• Deliver high-quality technical support and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and service execution.
• Conduct technical presentations, seminars, and training sessions for customers to support equipment performance and operational knowledge.
• Provide feedback from field experience to support product improvements and service development.
• Maintain accurate records and timely updates in field service and customer management systems, including weekly and monthly reporting.
• Respond to customer requirements with flexibility and travel frequently to customer sites to provide hands-on support.
• Identify and generate potential business opportunities and leads in collaboration with the sales team.

Location: Mumbai & Bengaluru

In this role, you will support customers by resolving equipment-related issues, improving equipment performance, and delivering technical service for slurry pumps, valves, cyclones, and mechanical seals across mining, aggregates, recycling, and process industries.

Frequent travel to customer sites is required.

You will join our Service, Pumps team, which is responsible for supporting customers throughout the equipment lifecycle by providing technical expertise, troubleshooting support, and service solutions. The team plays an important role in helping customers maximize equipment reliability, availability, and operational performance.

The team works closely with customers, sales teams, and service stakeholders to address technical issues, support continuous improvement, and identify opportunities to create additional customer value. Team members are based across PAN India and regularly collaborate to support customer operations.
