Job summary

GM Moto is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission and hand over robotic arm systems at customer sites across the region. You will perform preventive maintenance, health checks and remote/breakdown diagnostics, providing timely after-sales support and reporting diligently on site visits.

You will train customer operators, maintain service records and spare parts inventory, and collaborate with the Application Engineer to resolve complex technical issues while remaining available

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and hand over robotic arm systems at customer sites
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine health checks on deployed robots
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, electrical and software faults, both on site and remotely
• Provide after-sales support and respond to customer service requests within agreed timelines
• Train customer operators on safe operation and basic troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate service records, spare parts inventory and site visit reports
• Work closely with the Application Engineer to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
• Remain available on call for customer breakdowns and travel to customer sites at short notice during emergencies, including outside regular working hours when required
