Job summary

GM Moto Private Limited, a Coimbatore-based robotics and industrial automation company, seeks a Service Engineer to install, commission, and maintain robotic systems at customer sites. You will provide on-site and remote troubleshooting, train operators, and manage service records while traveling across Tamil Nadu.

Candidates with 1–2 years of robotics or automation experience are preferred; freshers with strong fundamentals are welcome.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in robotics, mechatronics, or related disciplines.
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring, sensors, pneumatics and control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and clear communication skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites across Tamil Nadu.
• 1–2 years of experience servicing or commissioning robotic arms, CNC machines or automated equipment.
• Familiarity with robot programming and teach pendant operation.
• Working knowledge of PLC fundamentals and industrial communication protocols.
• Freshers with strong technical fundamentals are encouraged to apply.
• Residents of Coimbatore or Tirupur; ready to join within 2 weeks; willing to travel for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and hand over robotic arm systems at customer sites
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine health checks on deployed robots
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, electrical and software faults on-site and remotely
• Provide after-sales support and respond to service requests within timelines
• Train customer operators on safe operation and basic troubleshooting
• Maintain service records, spare parts inventory and site visit reports
• Collaborate with Application Engineer to escalate and resolve complex issues
• Be on call and travel to customer sites during emergencies, including outside hours

Job description

We're a Coimbatore-based robotics and industrial automation company helping metal and textile manufacturers automate their factory floors with practical, cost-effective robotic solutions.

The Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and after-sales support of robotic systems at customer sites. The role is the primary technical point of contact for customers once a system is deployed, ensuring reliable operation and high customer satisfaction.

• - Install, commission and hand over robotic arm systems at customer sites
• - Carry out preventive maintenance and routine health checks on deployed robots
• - Diagnose and resolve hardware, electrical and software faults, both on site and remotely
• - Provide after-sales support and respond to customer service requests within agreed timelines
• - Train customer operators on safe operation and basic troubleshooting
• - Maintain accurate service records, spare parts inventory and site visit reports
• - Work closely with the Application Engineer to **escalate** and resolve complex technical issues
• - Remain available on call for customer breakdowns and travel to customer sites at short notice during emergencies, including outside regular working hours when required
• - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or a related discipline
• - Basic understanding of electrical wiring, sensors, pneumatics and control systems
• - Strong troubleshooting ability and clear communication skills
• - Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites across Tamil Nadu
