Job summary

Sone India in Hyderabad is seeking a service engineer to install laboratory equipment, demonstrate operation, and explain maintenance needs to customers. The role requires travel and hands-on calibration expertise.

You will respond to breakdowns, coordinate with HO and customers for spares, and help generate revenue through AMC and spare sales while maintaining accurate service reports and stock records.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel intensively.
• Know Hindi and regional languages.
• Familiar with temperature, pH, humidity, pressure, vacuum, gases (CO2, O2), humidity, clean room calib (dop, voc, particle count).
• Electrical / pipette calibration knowledge.
• ITI/ Diploma in electrical / electronic / Biomedical /Instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Install all equipment.
• Demo installed product; explain maintenance pros/cons.
• Attend breakdown/service/calibration/lab shifting calls.
• Escalate service issues to reporting manager/HO if not resolved at site.
• Follow up for PO/invoice/payment; update Zonal Manager.
• Promote filters/spares/new equipment as per customer needs.
• Maintain stock in hand; verify with HO/Zonal Manager.
• Calibrate analyzers per recommended intervals.
• Update knowledge of all products.
• Coordinate with customers on issues and spare/service needs.
• Send daily job reports to HO and reporting manager.
• Generate revenue via AMC, service calls, calibration and spare sales.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Installation of all Equipment.
• Provide demo for the installed product and inform about pros and cons for maintenance of it.
• Attend Breakdown/Service/Calibration/Lab Shifting calls
• Escalate service complaints/repair issues to reporting manager/HO if the issue is not resolved at site
• Follow up with HO/Customers for PO/Invoice/Payment on regular basis update Zonal Manager
• Promote Filters/ other spares / new equipment as per the customers requirement in Lab
• Send faulty spare to HO with respective FIR
• Maintain stock in hand list regularly and get verified with HO/Zonal Manager regularly
• Maintain proper schedule to get analyzers calibrated as per recommended intervals
• Update yourself with complete knowledge of all the products
• Coordinate with customers regarding issues with equipment or Lab readiness for installation
• Interacting with customers on a regular basis related to service queries and requirement of spares, service support etc
• Send the reports of job done to HO and reporting manager on daily basis
• Generating revenue by way of AMC, Service calls, calibration and spare sales

Qualifications / Requirements

• Ready for intense traveling
• Knowledge of Hindi and the regional languages
