Job summary

Sigma Staffing Solutions in Pune, India is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to support customers with on-site and remote troubleshooting of industrial automation equipment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in industrial automation field.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Provide technical support to customers through field service calls, troubleshooting issues with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and other industrial automation equipment.
• Conduct commissioning and installation of new systems, ensuring proper configuration and testing.
• Troubleshoot complex problems using problem-solving techniques such as root cause analysis (RCA) and fault tree diagrams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer complaints and improve overall product reliability.

Job Requirements :

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role providing technical services in the industrial automation industry.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and HMI software (e.g., Wonderware).
• Experience with VFD technology and ability to troubleshoot common issues related to motor control circuits.
• Excellent communication skills for effective customer support over phone or email.
