Job summary

Uno Minda Limited is seeking a Service Engineer to lead and scale EV charger installation and after-sales service operations in South India. You will manage field teams, vendor partners, customer experience, and service delivery performance to ensure high-quality, safe and timely installations.

The role requires 4–7 years of experience in after-sales service within the automobile sector, with EV passenger vehicles as a preferred area.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE/BTech in mechanical, electrical or electronic engineering.
• 4–7 years of after-sales service experience in automobile/EV sector preferred.
• Experience with EV passenger vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day service activities at dealerships, service centers, and workshops.
• Diagnose technical issues and support repair and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with technicians for timely service delivery and issue resolution.
• Handle warranty claims and maintain service documentation.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support technician/dealer training on service procedures and product updates.
• Ensure service quality and safety standards in line with company policies.
• Prepare service reports and track service performance metrics.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Quality, and Purchase for service-related issues.
