About the Role:

We are looking for a technically skilled and customer-focused Service Engineer to join our team for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and technical support of biomedical instruments. The engineer will be based in Patna and will be responsible for providing service support across the East Zone of India, involving frequent customer visits and travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, calibrate, and demonstrate biomedical instruments at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and software-related issues in medical/diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as per service schedules.
• Attend breakdown/service calls and ensure timely resolution.
• Perform equipment testing, calibration, and performance verification.
• Maintain accurate service reports, installation reports, and preventive-maintenance records.
• Provide technical support and training to customers and end users.
• Coordinate with the technical/support team for complex technical issues and spare-parts requirements.
• Identify defective components and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
• Maintain service tools, test equipment, and spare parts properly.
• Follow company service procedures, safety standards, and customer-site protocols.
• Maintain good professional relationships with hospitals, laboratories, diagnostic centres, and other customers.
