ISP Instruments India Pvt. Ltd. is a subsidiary of ISP Co., Ltd., South Korea. The company is engaged in the manufacturing, marketing, and after-sales support of high-end XRF spectrometers used for material analysis.

As the company expands its India-based manufacturing and service footprint, we are looking for a hands-on and technically skilled Service Engineer to support customers across North India.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of XRF and related analytical instruments at customer sites across North India.

The role involves close coordination with customers, providing product training and application support, assisting the sales team with product demonstrations, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt and effective technical support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, commission, and service XRF and related analytical instruments at customer sites.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic, electrical, and mechanical faults in machinery and accurately identify the root cause of issues.
• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize customer downtime.
• Coordinate directly with customers to understand complaints, schedule service visits, and ensure timely resolution of service issues.
• Conduct customer training sessions on instrument operation, care, and basic troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain thorough product knowledge to advise customers on suitable solutions and applications.
• Provide application support to the sales team, including understanding customer requirements and recommending appropriate configurations.
• Support the sales team with machine demonstrations at customer sites and exhibitions.
• Maintain accurate service records, spare parts usage records, and service visit reports.
• Undertake extensive travel across North India to meet service and customer support requirements.
• Escalate unresolved technical issues to the service or engineering team at the factory with clear documentation.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Strong foundational knowledge of basic electronics and electrical circuits.
• Good troubleshooting ability with a logical and methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Sound understanding of machinery and instrumentation, with the ability to accurately identify technical issues.
• Strong customer coordination and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct effective customer training sessions.
• Willingness and ability to learn products in depth and suggest suitable solutions to customers.
• Ability to support sales activities through application support and on-site machine demonstrations.
• Willingness to travel extensively across North India.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working independently in the field.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• Prior experience in service or technical support roles in instrumentation, analytical equipment, electronics, or a similar industry is preferred.
• Freshers with strong technical fundamentals and the right aptitude may also be considered.

LOCATION AND TRAVEL

This position is based out of Delhi and involves extensive travel across North India to provide technical service and support to customers at their sites.

COMPENSATION

CTC: Rs 3,00,000 to Rs 4,50,000 per annum

The compensation will depend on the candidate's experience, qualifications, technical skills, and overall profile.
