Job summary

Cygni Energy is seeking an electronics technician to rectify OGH & BMS boards and provide repair/troubleshooting support for EV battery systems. You will work with soldering/rework, test electronics using meters, scopes and analyzers, and coordinate with R&D and purchasing for component changes.

You will perform per-day board rectifications, site visits as required, and contribute to quality and ISO/TS 16949-2009 compliance through testing and MIS reporting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on soldering equipment knowledge (Hakko station, hot air) and IPC610/IPC7711 rework standards.
• MSD/ESD/ROHS compliance awareness and 5S standards.
• Ability to test conditions and understand sequences and phases of test operations.

Responsibilities

• Rectification of OGH & BMS boards for EV segments.
• Repair/troubleshooting of electronic circuits and network devices.
• Operate test equipment like multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers.
• Soldering/desoldering of SMD components (BGA, capacitors, resistors, connectors, diodes).
• Coordinate with R&D and Purchase for component changes during debugging.
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports for debugging and analysis.

Job description

ROLE

• Rectification of OGH & BMS boards, providing service in EV segments like BMS & Batteries of different ratings
• Responsible for repair/troubleshooting of Electronic Ckts/Network devices
• Operates electronic test equipment such as Multi meter, Digital power supply, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer and other tests as required
• Work on soldering & de-soldering of electronic SMD components like BGA, Capacitors, Resistors, Connectors, Diodes
• Coordinate with R&D and Purchase Departments for all the component changes and issues while debugging the boards
• Coordinate with related sections to improvement for internal quality issues and customer quality issues
• Control and an assurance that the parts are compliance with quality and specifications requirements
• Support quality management system to establish, implement and maintain ISO/TS 16949:2009
• Prepare & Maintain MIS Reports for Debugging and Analysis with 7qc tools
• Travel to various project sites on a need basis to rectify the boards and the system from time to time
• Per day 5 No’s system rectification
• Site visit to different customers/clients to resolve the complaints

REQUIREMENTS

• Skills of hands on soldering equipment like Hakko Soldering station, Hot air blower, knowledge of IPC 610 & IPC 7711 rework skills standards, MSD, ESD, ROHS, 5S Standards
• Understanding of conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations
