Job summary

Neptune Automatic is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to install, commission, troubleshoot, and service security and access products at client sites across India. The role requires hands-on training, strong communication, and timely reporting.

You may travel on short notice and will liaise with service managers to address escalated issues. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma/ITI in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, have 2–3 years of field experience, and possess a valid driving

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• 2-3 years of field experience in installation and servicing security products.
• Valid driving license mandatory.
• Preference for owning a 2-wheeler (bike/scooter).
• Proficient troubleshooting and equipment handling.
• Strong communication, punctuality and reporting discipline.
• Able to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Willingness to travel anywhere in India.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain Security and Access Products/Solutions. For e.g. boom barriers, bollards, RFID systems, and parking solutions at client sites.
• Conduct routine and emergency repairs, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
• Provide hands-on support and training to end-users on product functionality.
• Maintain daily reporting on job status, calls attended, parts usage, and customer feedback, ensuring accuracy and punctuality in all documentation.
• Travel across India on short notice for service assignments, including remote locations.
• Liaise with service managers and technical support for escalated issues and improvements.
• Ensure adherence to company policy, job safety, and site protocols during service visits.
• Actively contribute to companys customer satisfaction and quality improvement goals.

Key Requirements

Education

Diploma/ITI in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Experience

2-3 years of field experience in installation and servicing boom barriers, bollards, RFID access, and parking products.

License

Valid driving license is mandatory.

Preference will be given to candidates owning a 2-wheeler (bike/scooter).
