Job summary

Genpact Ltd. in India is seeking a Service Delivery Leader for Insurance - P&C Underwriting to oversee end-to-end underwriting services for a major insurer.

The role involves coordinating pre-issuance and post-issuance activities, maintaining SLAs, and driving process excellence. You will mentor a large team, collaborate with RPA and Six Sigma teams, and engage with the client’s underwriting center of excellence in India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degrees in actuarial science, economics, finance, or risk management and insurance.
• Master’s degree in statistics is a plus.
• Certifications in insurance (e.g., CPCU, CIP) are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end underwriting service delivery for a leading insurance provider, including pre-issuance (rating, quoting, binders) and post-issuance processes (policy issuance, endorsements, cancellations).
• Partner with client underwriting leadership to ensure operational alignment and excellence.
• Directly manage ~200 underwriting professionals and oversee SLAs and KPIs across three U.S. geographies.
• Drive transformation initiatives and center-of-excellence delivery with India-based underwriting teams.
