Job summary

Genpact in India is hiring for an Associate - Insurance - P&C Claims to handle auto insurance inquiries, assess client coverage needs, and process policy changes with accuracy and speed. You’ll work with agents and underwriters to ensure compliant, precise policies and keep thorough records for audits.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service, accuracy in documentation, and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant field such as actuarial science, economics, finance or risk management and insurance.
• Advanced certifications in claims and insurance (AIC, CFE, CIC, CPCU) are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of insurance concepts, policy terminology and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in claims management and customer handling in auto insurance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with inquiries regarding auto insurance policies, providing clear and accurate information.
• Evaluate client insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options to ensure adequate protection.
• Accurately and efficiently process policy changes, updates, and endorsements.
• Resolve client concerns and issues in a professional and timely manner, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with insurance agents and underwriters to ensure policy accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions, policy updates, and resolutions for audit and reporting purposes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on processes and identifying opportunities for enhanced efficiency.
