Job summary

Genpact in India is seeking a Sr. Associate - Insurance - P&C Underwriting to join its expanding underwriting team.

You will review claim submissions, verify coverage, and communicate updates to customers, vendors, and internal partners, ensuring adherence to policies. You will document assessments in internal systems, escalate complex cases, and contribute to process improvements while complying with regulatory requirements and maintaining audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in actuarial science, economics, finance, risk management, or statistics.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines and policy terms.
• Proficiency in English; aptitude for analytics.

Job Description

Responsibilities: Review and analyze claim submissions and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness. Verify policy coverage and eligibility in accordance with underwriting guidelines and company policies. Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to provide claim updates and resolve routine inquiries. Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards during claims adjudication. Accurately document claim assessments, decisions, and outcomes in internal systems for audit readiness. Collaborate with team members to resolve complex claim issues, escalating cases where required. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all claim processing activities. Contribute to process improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting practical solutions.
