Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Service Delivery Leader for Insurance - P&C Underwriting. You will oversee end-to-end underwriting operations, from rating and quoting to policy issuance and endorsements, across multiple geographies.

You will partner with the client’s CFO to ensure smooth delivery, drive center of excellence initiatives, and mentor a large team of underwriters in India. The role requires strong data analytics, Lean Six Sigma, and insurance domain expertise, with a focus on transforming

Qualifications

• Bachelors degrees in actuarial science, economics, finance, or risk management/insurance.
• Masters in statistics is a plus.
• Underwriting background and data analytics skills are preferred.

• Lead end-to-end underwriting service delivery for a leading insurer, covering pre-issuance and post-issuance processes.
• Collaborate with client underwriting CFO for operational alignment and excellence.

Partner with the client Underwriting CFO to ensure operational alignment and excellence. Function as an overlay to domain specialists, providing operational rigor and process value for first-time outsourcing engagements. Deliver SLAs and KPIs across the underwriting portfolio spanning three U.S. geographies, with no onshore retained staff. Directly manage ~200 underwriting professionals handling pre- and post-issuance processes. Maintain operational stability during quarterly and annual renewal surges, demonstrating agility, client handling, and people management skills. Drive transformation and standardization initiatives to converge delivery under a center of excellence framework. Serve as primary point of contact for the client’s underwriting center of excellence in India. Collaborate with internal RPA and Six Sigma teams to implement efficiency and digital initiatives.
