Job summary

Genpact Ltd. is seeking an experienced finance professional to ensure close schedules align with US GAAP and internal norms. You will work with Accounts, Tax, and Retail Stores to analyze and reconcile transactions, manage lease payments, and provide governance and reporting to stakeholders.

The role includes ensuring SOX compliance and driving process improvements. The position involves leading a cross-functional team, conducting monthly appraisals, and developing staff through performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce, economics or finance.
• Postgraduate finance degree preferred.
• CFA, CISA or FRM certifications beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure activities follow close schedules and US GAAP; align with company norms.
• Collaborate with Accounts, Tax, and Retail Stores to analyze and reconcile transactions.
• Understand Lease Agreements; ensure payments to lessor/landlord are accurate and timely.
• Provide governance, reporting, and analysis to key stakeholders; discuss issues regularly.
• Review team output for proper accounting treatment and accuracy.
• Ensure SOX compliance; escalate and resolve issues promptly.
• Evaluate process improvements to optimize reporting systems.
• Manage cross-functional team deliverables and motivate performance.
• Develop the team via performance management and monthly appraisals.
