Genpact India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Service Delivery Leader for F&A - R2R to drive close processes under US GAAP and strong governance. The role leads a cross-functional team, ensures accurate accounting, and manages lease-related payments. You will mentor staff and push for standardization and process improvements.

The position demands deep financial controls knowledge, SAP/Oracle ERP proficiency, and stakeholder collaboration in a hybrid India-based setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degrees in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance.

Responsabilités

• Ensure all activities are performed according to closed schedules and US GAAP
• Coordinate with Accounts/Tax/Stores to analyze and reconcile transactions
• Understand Lease agreements and ensure timely payments to Leasor/Landlord
• Provide governance reporting and CTQ metrics to stakeholders
• Review team output for proper accounting treatment and SOX adherence
• Escalate and resolve accounting/issues promptly
• Suggest system/process improvements for better reporting models
• Manage cross-functional team and drive performance
• Develop team through monthly appraisals and coaching

Job Description

• Ensure all activities are performed according to agreed close schedules and that accounting policies are following US GAAP and stated company norms
• Work closely with other Accounts / Tax Departments / Retail Stores to understand business transactions and ensure they are analyzed, processed, accounted and reconciled appropriately and accurately
• Understanding Lease Agreements and ensuring all payments to Leasor / Landlord are done accurately and in timely manner
• Ensure process governance including reporting and analysis to key stakeholders – communicate on a regular basis to discuss operational issues, key metrics, CTQ’s (internally &/or externally)
• Review and analyze the team’s output for appropriate accounting treatment, completeness and accuracy related to general accounting
• Understand the SOX Regulations and always ensure adherence by the teams
• Act as point of escalation to resolve accounting and reporting related issues in a timely manner and ensure all queries are dealt with accurately and efficiently
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to systems or other processes to maximize the use of information system resources to develop comprehensive reporting models
• Provide day-to-day management of the cross-functional team in assigning and monitoring deliverables, and motivating and leading the teams to improve performance and work product
• Develop the team through effective performance management and monthly appraisals
