Job summary

Darwinbox Digital Solutions Pvt Ltd. in India seeks a qualified HSE professional to lead safety initiatives across the plant, focusing on training modules, regulatory compliance, and incident prevention.

You will drive ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 implementation, conduct audits, and coordinate for PESO and other govt approvals. Kannada and English proficiency required.

3–5 years in automobile/manufacturing sectors with a Diploma in Industrial Safety preferred.

Qualifications

• ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 Lead /Internal Auditor Training.
• Diploma in Industrial Safety- DGFASLI from CLI & RLI Govt. of India.
• Mechanical Diploma.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in automobile manufacturing industries.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Kannada & English.

Responsibilities

• Improve Safety by regular audits & assessment and evaluation, CAPA, theme-based initiatives (4M, RULA/REBA, LOTO).
• Monthly conductance of Safety Committee meeting with all committee members.
• PPEs management and adherence audit across the plant.
• Periodical Induction & refresher training of HSE elements.
• Implementation & documentation of HSE ISO Standards, ISO-14001:2015 & ISO-45001:2018.
• Ensure 100% legal compliance related to PESO, DDF and other government bodies and licenses.
• Use HSE tools like HIRA, JSA to derive action plans and drive KPI targets.
• Work towards zero HSE accidents by providing a safe working environment.

Overview:

• Developing & conducting HSE related training modules.
• Facilitating& coordinating for HSE & Other standards implementation &certification for AAL units.
• Drivingfor Automotive Axle Production System (Zero COC, BAD, BIQ) implementation &adherence across the plant
• HSEapplicable regulations compliance management
• Designing& implementing safety incidents preventions systems/programs.
• Theposition to fulfill the requirement under The Factories Act 1948 and The KarnatakaFactories Rule 1969.

Core Responsibilities:

• Improve Safety by regular audits &assessment and evaluation, CAPA, conducting theme-based initiatives (4M,RULA/REBA, LOTO etc.,), Mock Drills and improving / strengthening systemsby implementing new technologies and Legal Compliance

• Ensuring 100% Contractors HSErequirements and adherence to work permit system.
• Celebration of National safetyday, Chemical Disaster Prevention Day & Safety Campaigns.
• Conducting periodical theme-basedaudits to identify USC/USA & implementing CAPA
• Conducting periodical mock drillsas per regulatory guidelines
• Implementation of firemitigation measures across the plant on continual basis.
• Development &implementation of On-Site Emergency Plan & Preparedness.
• Engineeringchanges to improve safety at workplace
• Periodicalaudit of Fire hydrant system & potentially hazardous area
• Implementationof Early warning system in Potential hazardous /Fire prone areas
• Maintainingplant safety discipline and initiating disciplinary action
• Involvingall levels of employees to participate in 100% in various HSE internal& external competitions
• Promoting Recognition &Reward schemes among all the levels of employees.
• Submissionof all HSE applicable statutory periodical returns
• Conductingperiodical checklist-based safety audits.
• Conductingperiodical checklist-based audit for LPG yard, Hazardous chemical storagetransport and handling & ensuring LPG yard safety.

Required Education /Certification / Experience / Technical / Professional Knowledge and Skills:
