Job summary

Bajaj Broking in Pune is seeking a Server Administrator (Windows/Linux) to build and maintain a high-performance hybrid infrastructure that scales to millions of users, ensuring zero-downtime during market peak hours. You will manage core Windows and Linux servers, optimize Nutanix HCI, and drive security and automation workflows.

You’ll execute OS hardening, AD governance, RBAC, and backup/DR with Commvault, while scripting in PowerShell and Bash to automate routine tasks and provisioning.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of hands-on server administration experience in high-concurrency enterprise environments.
• Deep mastery across Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) and Windows Server ecosystems.
• Strong hands-on experience managing Nutanix HCI.
• Proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and scripting (PowerShell / Bash).
• FinTech readiness to manage mission-critical, low-latency, and zero-downtime infra.
• Certifications (bonus): RHCE/RHCSA, MCSE, Nutanix (NCP), or VMware.

Responsibilities

• Automate & Scale: Write Bash/PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks, monitoring, and provisioning.
• Crisis Management: Lead rapid troubleshooting with Security and Network teams.

We are looking for a Server Administrator (Windows/Linux) who thrives on building and maintaining high-performance hybrid infrastructure. You will manage our core Windows and Linux servers, optimize modern Nutanix HCI systems, and ensure zero-downtime operations during market peak hours.

What You’ll Do

• Engine of High Availability: Own the health, performance, and uptime of core enterprise Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows server clusters.
• Master Nutanix HCI: Drive administration, capacity planning, and optimization across our modern Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure.
• Fortify Security & Patching: Execute continuous security hardening, OS patching, Active Directory governance, and RBAC compliance.
• Build Disaster Resilience: Implement zero-data-loss backup workflows (Commvault) and robust Disaster Recovery (DR) protocols.
• Automate & Scale: Write Bash/PowerShell scripts to automate routine system tasks, monitoring, and infrastructure provisioning.
• Crisis Management: Lead rapid troubleshooting for OS, server hardware, and storage incidents alongside our Security and Network operations teams.

What We’re Looking For

• 8-10 years of hands-on erver administration experience in high-concurrency enterprise environments.
• Deep mastery across both Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) and Windows Server ecosystems.
• Strong hands-on experience managing Nutanix HCI.
• Proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and core scripting (PowerShell / Bash).
• FinTech Readiness: Proven ability to manage mission-critical, low-latency, and zero-downtime infrastructure.
• Certifications (Bonus): Red Hat (RHCE/RHCSA), Microsoft (MCSE), Nutanix (NCP), or VMware.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Commvault backup and recovery systems.
• Exposure to cloud hybrid deployments (AWS / Azure) or advanced virtualization platforms.
