Job summary

Selp India seeks an IT Infrastructure/Server Administrator to manage Windows Server environments (2016–2025) and core services like Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. You will handle user and device management, monitor server health, and perform RCA when issues arise.

Basic firewall/VPN, backups, and endpoint security are part of the role. Candidate should have 1–3 years in IT infrastructure, with graduates or equivalent, and a willingness to coordinate with vendors and application

Qualifications

• Graduate or equivalent with IT/IS background.
• 1–3 years in IT Infrastructure or System & Server Administration.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025 is a plus.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, VLAN, routing and subnetting is beneficial.
• Knowledge of IT security and patch management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Administrate Windows Server environments across 2016–2025.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Handle user, computer, group, and permission management.
• Monitor server health and perform RCA.
• Configure Windows client OS installations and troubleshooting.
• Maintain network basics: TCP/IP, VLAN, routing and subnetting.
• Oversee firewall, VPN and network troubleshooting basics.
• Administer backups, NAS and storage.
• Patch management using WSUS or similar tools.
• Antivirus/endpoint security administration.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and application teams for complex issues.
• Knowledge of IT security and system hardening is advantageous.

Role & responsibilities

• Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022/2025) installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Good hands-on knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• User, computer, group, permission and access management.
• Server health monitoring, performance troubleshooting and basic Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Windows 10/11 installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, switching and subnetting.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Firewall, VPN and network troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of backup, restore, NAS and storage.
• Patch management using WSUS or other patch management tools.
• Antivirus/Endpoint Security administration.
• Troubleshooting of hardware, software, application and network issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and application teams for complex technical issues.
• Knowledge of IT security, VAPT remediation and system hardening will be an advantage.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification: Any Graduate or equivalent.

Experience: 1 to 3 Years in IT Infrastructure / System & Server Administration.
