Job summary

Micro Labs is seeking an experienced Server Administrator to maintain, monitor, and optimize our RHEL infrastructure and high-availability Red Hat clusters. The role focuses on keeping core services highly available and secure through proactive incident resolution and regular system tuning.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of Linux server experience with RHEL 8/9 and cluster configurations; RHCSA/RHCE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience dedicated to Linux Server Administration.
• Strong practical expertise with RHEL 8/9 and Red Hat Cluster configurations.
• RHCSA or RHCE certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Red Hat High-Availability Clusters for production systems.
• Investigate cluster fence actions, split-brain scenarios, and node drops; own incident resolution.
• Manage storage using LVM, multipathing, SAN/NAS and configure OS networking (bonding/VLANs).
• Monitor logs and performance to identify bottlenecks; apply kernel and system tuning as needed.
• Apply OS security patches, manage SSH keys, configure SELinux policies, and enforce access controls.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Server Administrator to maintain, monitor, and optimize our Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) infrastructure and High-Availability (HA) Red Hat Cluster environments. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience troubleshooting critical node failures, managing storage layout architectures, and automating routine operational tasks, with responsibility for ensuring 99.9% uptime for our core services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cluster Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain production-ready Red Hat High‑Availability Clusters.
• Incident Resolution: Take ownership of investigating cluster fence actions, split‑brain scenarios, and node drops.
• Storage & Networking: Manage advanced storage allocations using LVM, multipathing, and SAN/NAS, as well as configure network bonding or VLANs at the OS level.
• Performance Tuning: Monitor system logs and performance metrics to proactively identify resource bottlenecks (CPU, Memory, I/O) and apply kernel optimizations.
• Security & Compliance: Apply regular OS security patches, manage SSH keys, configure SELinux policies, and enforce user access controls.

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience dedicated to Linux Server Administration.
• Core Competencies: Strong practical expertise with RHEL 8/9 and Red Hat Cluster configurations.
