Job summary

Vivre Panels in Kolkata is seeking a Senior Video Editor who can turn raw footage into strong visual stories for social media, brand campaigns, product films, events, and interviews.

You will edit reels and brand videos in Premiere Pro and After Effects, grade color in DaVinci Resolve, and collaborate with design, copy, and marketing teams. A portfolio is mandatory; 3–5 years of professional experience; strong sense of pacing, music, and storytelling.

Senior Video Editor

Experience: 3-5 Years

We’re looking for a Senior Video Editor who can not only execute edits, but also ideate videos for social media, brand campaigns, product films, events, interviews, and whatever creative brief comes next.

What You’ll Do

• Edit reels, brand films, product videos, campaigns, interviews, testimonials, exhibition content, and digital ads.
• Ideate video concepts, hooks, edit structures, transitions, and storytelling approaches.
• Take projects from raw footage to final output.
• Work closely with the creative, design, copy, and marketing teams.
• Handle motion graphics, compositing, basic VFX, sound design, and visual enhancements.
• Maintain strong standards for pacing, typography, storytelling, and overall finish.
• Work with DaVinci Resolve for colour correction and grading.
• Use Generative AI tools to create or enhance visual assets when required.

Skills We Need

• Adobe Premiere Pro — Advanced
• Adobe After Effects — Advanced
• Adobe Photoshop — Strong
• DaVinci Resolve — Colour Grading knowledge
• Working knowledge of Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT Image Generation, Gemini, or similar platforms
• Understanding of AI-assisted workflows such as image generation, enhancement, image-to-video, compositing, and creative asset creation
• Experience with Magnific, Higgsfield, or node-based AI workflows is a strong bonus

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of professional video editing experience
• Strong visual storytelling and creative ideation skills
• A good sense of music, pacing, sound, typography, and colour
• Ability to contribute ideas instead of only executing briefs
• Comfortable experimenting with new formats, trends, and AI tools

• Most importantly, a team player who can collaborate, take feedback, contribute to discussions, and work towards a shared creative vision.

A portfolio / showreel is compulsory. Applications without relevant work samples will not be considered.
