Job summary

Alendei Platforms Pvt Ltd is seeking a Video Editor to join our Creative & Video Production team in Vadodara. You will edit short-form and long-form content, trim and pace footage, and ensure brand alignment across client campaigns.

Proficiency in Premiere Pro is mandatory; After Effects and basic colour grading skills are a strong advantage. A solid showreel or portfolio demonstrating storytelling and rhythm is required to qualify for this role.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in video editing for agencies or production houses.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro; basic colour grading and audio balancing required.
• Strong storytelling, pacing, and editing rhythm; showreel/portfolio required.
• Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve and platform export specs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form video content including reels, YouTube videos, brand films, and event reels with precise cuts and pacing.
• Add motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, VFX; colour grade for broadcast quality; balance audio.
• Export and optimize content for platforms (Instagram Reels, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, OTT).
• Create motion graphics and logo animations using After Effects; coordinate with design team.
• Manage project files and render archives; handle multiple edits and revisions to meet deadlines.

Job description

Alendei Media's Creative & Video Production team produces content for a diverse client portfolio brand films, social media reels, ad films, product videos, testimonials, event highlights, and OOH campaign visuals. We are looking for a Video Editor who brings both technical precision and a strong visual sensibility to the edit room. If you think of cuts, live inside a timeline, and know what makes a viewer stop scrolling this is your seat.

• Edit short-form and long-form video content reels, YouTube videos, brand films, ad films, testimonials, and event reels trimming, sequencing, and pacing raw footage into polished, publish-ready deliverables aligned to each client's brand and campaign objectives.
• Add motion graphics, text overlays, lower thirds, transitions, and VFX; colour grade for visual consistency and broadcast quality; mix and balance audio dialogue, voiceover, music, and SFX to professional delivery standards.
• Export and optimize content for platform specifications, Instagram Reels (9:16), YouTube (16:9), Facebook Stories, LinkedIn, and OTT pre-rolls; repurpose long-form content into short-form formats for cross-platform distribution.
• Create simple to mid-complexity motion graphics, logo animations, title cards, kinetic text, infographic animations using After Effects. Coordinate with the design team to incorporate static brand assets into motion.
• Manage project files, footage libraries, and render archives with clear labelling; handle multiple simultaneous edit projects, meet deadlines, and incorporate revision feedback accurately.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of video editing experience agency, production house, freelance, or self-produced content. Freshers with strong portfolios are considered.
• Adobe Premiere Pro proficiency is mandatory; After Effects is a strong advantage. Basic colour grading and audio balancing within the edit workflow required.
• Strong sense of video storytelling, pacing, and editing rhythm. Portfolio mandatory reels, brand videos, short films, or personal projects qualify; showreel or YouTube channel preferred.
• Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve, platform-specific export specs (codec, bitrate, resolution), green screen/chroma key, and basic 2D animation is preferred.
