You will collaborate with directors and content teams, manage multiple projects, and apply color grading, sound design, and motion graphics as needed while delivering compelling edits for digital platforms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience.

Senior Video Editor

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and experienced Senior Video Editor who has a strong understanding of video editing, filmmaking, storytelling, and visual communication. The ideal candidate should be able to transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality content while bringing their own creative vision and innovative ideas to every project.

The candidate should have a strong eye for detail, understand cinematic storytelling, and be comfortable working on multiple types of content including social media videos, reels, promotional videos, event aftermovies, brand films, advertisements, music/event content, and short-form content.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-quality videos from raw footage to final delivery.
• Understand filmmaking, cinematography, storytelling, pacing, composition, and visual language.
• Create engaging Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, event videos, aftermovies, brand content, and digital campaigns.
• Work with directors, creative teams, photographers, and content teams to understand project requirements.
• Select the right footage, music, transitions, sound effects, and visual elements to create compelling stories.
• Perform color correction, basic color grading, sound design, audio mixing, motion graphics, and visual effects where required.
• Create content optimized for Instagram, YouTube, advertisements, and other digital platforms.
• Bring fresh, innovative, and creative editing styles to projects.
• Stay updated with current editing trends, transitions, storytelling techniques, visual effects, and social media formats.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver work within deadlines.
• Maintain organized project files, footage, assets, and final exports.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of professional video editing and post-production.
• Strong understanding of filmmaking and cinematic storytelling.
• Excellent sense of timing, pacing, music, composition, and visual flow.
• Strong creative and innovative mindset.
• Good understanding of social media content and current video trends.
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro is required.
• Knowledge of After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, or similar software will be an advantage.
• Basic understanding of color grading, sound design, and motion graphics.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a creative team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to take creative ownership of projects.

Equipment Requirement

• Candidate must have their own high-performance PC or laptop suitable for professional video editing.
• Should have sufficient storage and the ability to handle high-resolution footage such as 4K video.
• Stable internet connection and necessary editing software are preferred.

Experience

• 2+ years of professional video editing experience preferred.
• Candidates with a strong portfolio and exceptional creative skills may also be considered regardless of exact years of experience.
• Experience in events, advertising, entertainment, social media, music, fashion, or brand content will be an added advantage.
