Persistent is seeking a Senior UiPath Developer to lead AP automation initiatives. You will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade UiPath solutions, integrating with Sage Intacct and other ERP systems, leveraging OCR/IDP for document processing, and driving governance with REFramework and Orchestrator.

You will mentor teams, perform code reviews, and ensure scalable, maintainable automation across the finance domain.

About Position:

We are seeking a skilled Senior UiPath Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of UiPath-based Accounts Payable (AP) automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in UiPath development, enterprise integrations, OCR/IDP technologies, and automation lifecycle management. This role involves building scalable automation solutions, integrating financial systems, and ensuring operational excellence through automation governance and best practices.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade Accounts Payable automation solutions using UiPath.
• Develop and manage UiPath automation workflows utilizing UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, Robots, Queues, Assets, and Environments.
• Design invoice processing workflows, including invoice intake, validation, approval routing, and exception handling.
• Implement OCR and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions for automated invoice extraction and processing.
• Integrate UiPath solutions with Sage Intacct and other enterprise applications using REST APIs and web services.
• Develop automated vendor exception handling and document management workflows.
• Create scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation components following UiPath best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and governance policies.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
• Manage release planning, production deployment, monitoring, and post-production support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues, system defects, and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand AP processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Prepare technical documentation, solution design documents, and operational support guides.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, regulatory, and approval control requirements.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks and recommend enhancements to existing solutions.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 5 to 8 years of experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and enterprise automation development.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in UiPath development and REST Web Services.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying UiPath automation solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of UiPath Orchestrator, Robots, Queues, Assets, REFramework, and environment management.
• Experience implementing OCR and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with invoice processing, Accounts Payable automation, and financial workflow automation.
• Expertise in integrating enterprise systems using REST APIs, web services, JSON, and XML.
• Experience working with ERP or financial platforms such as Sage Intacct or similar systems.
• Strong understanding of automation governance, security standards, and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, deployment, release management, and production support activities.
• Knowledge of exception handling, monitoring, logging, and automation performance optimization.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Experience conducting code reviews and ensuring development best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced delivery environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
