Job summary

GlobalLogic Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester with 4–5 years of hands-on testing experience in India. The role focuses on manual testing with exposure to Playwright automation tools.

Responsibilities include designing test cases, executing multiple testing types, and defect management using Azure DevOps. The candidate will collaborate with developers, analysts, and QA peers in an Agile setup, participate in sprint ceremonies, and contribute to process improvements while supporting

• 4–5 years of experience in manual testing.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC and testing methodologies.
• Experience with Linux/Unix command line.
• Experience with test case management tools.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems like Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to testing web-based and desktop applications.

• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and Smoke testing.
• Identify, report, and track bugs using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure test coverage and quality metrics are met.
• Contribute to testing process improvements and methodologies.
• Work with automation engineers; assist in creating Playwright scripts when needed.

Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Manual Tester with4 to 5years of hands-on experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in manual testing processes, test case creation, and defect management. While the primary responsibility will be manual testing, experience or familiarity with Playwright automation tools is highly desirable.

Required Skills:

4-5 years of experience in manual testing.
Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies.
