Job summary

GlobalLogic in India is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design and execute test coverage plans, map test requirements from specifications, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards. You will automate functional tests using Playwright with TypeScript and REST APIs, apply BDD, and work within an AGILE environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in Playwright with TypeScript and REST API automation.
• Strong knowledge of software testing and release processes.
• Experience with AGILE methodology.
• Experience in functional testing (manual and automation).
• Solid understanding of QA concepts, QA tools, and test automation.
• Experience with source control (GIT).
• Knowledge of SDLC and deployment tools like Jenkins/Harness is a plus.

Requirements

4-6 Years of experience in Playwright with Typescript and Rest API Automation, BDD.

Demonstrate knowledge of Software testing and release processes.

Experience with AGILE Methodology.

Experience in Functional Testing (Manual and automation).

Excellent knowledge of quality theory, concepts, tools, and methodologies of quality assurance.

Thorough understanding of testing methodologies, including test automation.

Experience with Source Control Technologies (GIT).

Experience with defect management software and procedures

Knowledge of software development life cycles

Good to have Deployment knowledge using Jenkins, and Harness.

Cloud Platform: AWS, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes

Good knowledge of Microservice architecture.
